Football and Purposeful Play for girls of all abilities in Zanzibar.
DonateWhere it started
Six months after their first training session, the Zanzibar Sparks played in France.
In 2023 there was no girls' football team in Zanzibar. WEZA started one. Six months later the Sparks represented the island at the Mondial Pupilles youth tournament. Today they are one of six teams, and this season the first girls' league in Zanzibar's history kicks off.

Goalball for girls with visual impairments. Sign language on the pitch. And a volunteer programme open to people of all abilities, because a girl coached by a woman with a disability learns something no session plan can teach.
