The Zanzibar Sparks
Zanzibar's first-ever U14 girls' football team, and the example that started everything.
- Founded as a safe space for girls of all abilities to play and belong.
- Through football and Purposeful Play the girls built skills, confidence, teamwork and leadership.
- The Sparks represented Zanzibar at the Mondial Pupilles youth tournament in France.
- Their journey shaped WEZA's inclusive approach and inspired the CHEZA Hub programme.
